Your Gurus
The McGroders, from Ulladulla Australia, are a very special and well loved family. John and Belinda have raised their kids Fynn and Duke on the Indian Ocean. John started running the first surf charters in Indonesia in 1995 over 20 years ago and was involved in the Quiksilver Crossing and running the early Indies Trader boats. In 2001 they purchased the Barrenjoey and have been running quality surf charters ever since. They have a lifetime of sailing, sea, and surf knowledge and there is nobody one would rather have at the helm of their surf voyage. John also happens to be the guy getting the waves of the day at HT's when it gets big!! At times when the Mcgroders have family obligations they entrust the Barrenjoey to only the most seasoned Australian captains.
